Most guests plan their park days. The smart ones plan the moments around the parks.
Walt Disney World’s Enchanting Extras Collection is where a good trip becomes a remarkable one. These are the add-ons that don’t show up on your MagicBand or appear on a map — the private safaris, the after-dark rituals, the experiences your kids will still be talking about at eighteen. They require reservations. They fill up fast. And they are, without exception, better when someone else handles the booking.
Here’s what’s worth your attention in 2026.
What Is the Enchanting Extras Collection?
Think of it as Disney’s curated menu of elevated experiences — everything beyond standard admission that transforms a theme park holiday into something genuinely exceptional. The Collection spans two categories:
- In-park experiences — tours, workshops, dessert parties, and character encounters inside the parks (park ticket required)
- Resort and waterfront experiences — specialty cruises, poolside cabanas, golf, and photoshoots that don’t require you to set foot in a park
Prices have risen modestly across the board — roughly 5–12% since late 2025 — so budget accordingly. The value, when chosen well, holds.
The Experiences Worth Booking
Keys to the Kingdom — Magic Kingdom
From $169–$189 per person | Ages 16+ | ~5 hours
This is the one for the Disney devotee in your family. A small-group walking tour of Magic Kingdom that goes underneath it — through the Utilidors, the network of service tunnels that keep the park’s magic seamless above ground. You’ll learn how Walt built a theme park designed to never break its own spell. Lunch is included. So is an exclusive keepsake.
Book this early. It sells out weeks in advance, and it should.
Savor the Savanna — Animal Kingdom
From $199–$209 per person | Ages 8+ | ~1 hour
Most guests see the savanna from Kilimanjaro Safaris, surrounded by a busload of strangers with their phones out. Savor the Savanna offers the same view with a private guide, African-inspired tapas, and a curated selection of beer and wine — at dusk, when the light is gold and the animals are active.
It is, without question, the best hour in Animal Kingdom.
Disney After Hours — Magic Kingdom
Separate ticket required | Jan 12 – Jul 27, 2026 | Select evenings
The park empties. The queues dissolve. And for three hours, your family has Magic Kingdom — TRON Lightcycle / Run, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion — with waits that can be measured in minutes rather than hours. Ice cream, popcorn, and select drinks are complimentary. The exclusive Disney Enchantment fireworks close the night.
This is the answer to every parent who has ever said, “I just want to enjoy the park without the crowds.”
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party — Seats & Sweets
From $119 adult / $75 child
A reserved spot on Tomorrowland Terrace’s patio for Happily Ever After — one of the finest fireworks shows Disney has ever staged. Before the show, you work through a dessert spread themed to Magic Kingdom’s lands: DOLE Whip Pineapple Mousse, Under the Sea Cupcakes, Star Command Mousse, and more. Beer and wine for the adults.
No staking out a patch of pavement ninety minutes early. No elbowing for sightlines. You arrive, you sit, the sky lights up.
GEO-82 Fireworks Experience — EPCOT
$179 per person (plus tax and gratuity) | Ages 21+ only
Inside EPCOT’s GEO-82 lounge, near Spaceship Earth, this adults-only evening is the most refined thing Disney offers in the Enchanting Extras range. A tasting tower of savory bites and sweets, sommelier-selected champagne, and then Luminous: The Symphony of Us fireworks over World Showcase Lagoon from a reserved vantage point.
If you’re travelling with other adults — or planning a rare evening without the children — this is where you go.
Private Fireworks Cruise
From $499 per boat (up to 10 guests)
A chartered pontoon boat, just your group, floating on Seven Seas Lagoon or World Showcase Lagoon as fireworks detonate directly above. The per-person math works favourably at larger group sizes. No park admission required — which makes this a brilliant option for arrival night, or for grandparents who’ve had enough of the parks but don’t want to miss the grand finale.
Snacks are included. The view is unobstructed. And you’ll have the whole boat to yourselves.
Savi’s Workshop — Handbuilt Lightsabers (Galaxy’s Edge)
$274.99 per lightsaber | Hollywood Studios
Forty-five minutes in a darkened workshop, guided by a “Gatherer,” choosing from kyber crystals and hilt components to build a lightsaber that responds to your choices. The ceremony is sincere. The craftsmanship, surprisingly serious. For the Star Wars fan in your group — regardless of age — nothing else at Hollywood Studios comes close.
Prices rose to $274.99 in late 2025. Book it the moment your reservation window opens.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
From $119.99 (Fairy Tale Package)
For the child who has been thinking about this since they saw the brochure. The Boutique transforms young guests into their chosen princess or knight — hair, costume, accessories, the works. Fairy Godmother’s apprentices run the session. In some packages, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother herself makes an appearance.
Three packages are available at Walt Disney World in 2026, starting at the Fairy Tale Package ($119.99) through to the Kingdom Package ($229.99). Worth every penny for the right child.
How to Book
Every Enchanting Extras experience requires an advance reservation — and most open 60 days before your arrival date. The most popular sell out within hours of that window opening. Keys to the Kingdom, Savor the Savanna, and After Hours tickets in particular are gone fast.
If you’re still getting your bearings with Disney World planning, our first-timer’s guide covers the full picture — from resort selection to park strategy.
This is precisely where having a travel specialist pays for itself. Rather than monitoring booking windows across six different experiences while managing flights, hotels, and park tickets, you hand the list over. It gets done. You show up to a trip that’s already been thought through.
The Bottom Line
Walt Disney World’s Enchanting Extras are not add-ons. They are the experiences that, five years from now, will be the ones your family actually remembers.
The fireworks from the boat. The savanna at golden hour. The lightsaber that was theirs to build.
The planning is the hard part. That’s what we’re here for.
